MINSAL health surveillance protocols

What the law requires

  • Psychosocial risk protocol CEAL-SM/SUSESO: mandatory in workplaces with more than 10 people, with an application committee, at least 60% response, discussion groups and an intervention plan every two years.
  • TMERT and manual load handling (Law 20.949) where repetitive tasks or load handling exist.
  • PREXOR (noise), PLANESI (silica), solar UV radiation and hypobaria whenever the risk agent is present.
  • Environmental and health surveillance coordinated with your mutual insurer, with records available for inspection.

What we deliver

  • Initial audit of every protocol that applies according to your IPER matrix.
  • Application committee set-up, communication and application of the instruments.
  • Coordination of measurements and assessments with the mutual insurer.
  • Intervention plan with measures, owners and deadlines, and training for exposed staff.
  • Evidence folder ready for the health authority and scheduled re-assessments.

FAQ

Common questions about this service

What if we do not reach 60% response on CEAL-SM?

The assessment is invalid and must be repeated. That is why prior communication and the application committee matter.

Does an office need MINSAL protocols?

Almost always: the psychosocial protocol applies to every workplace with more than 10 people and TMERT usually applies to desk work. Noise, silica and UV depend on real exposure.
